Elizabeth McLaughlin began her acting career with community theatre groups in Tampa, Florida. At eight years old, she joined the apprentice cast of Entertainment Revue, a professional show choir in Tampa, and was promoted to the professional cast two year later. Performances have included singing for Governers Bush and Schwarzenegger. Elizabeth was an honors student in high school, has won several speech and storytelling competitions, and was a cheerleader

Elizabeth McLaughlin was born in Morgantown, West Virgina. When she was three years old, she and her family moved to Florida. Elizabeth says that she loves politics, and sees herself as a politician. She would love to go to college at Oxford in Oxford, England, and major in theater. She has stated that if she had a choice between acting or going to college, she would pick college. She currently lives with her parents, and her dog, Sport. She is best known for her portrayal of Massie Block in The Clique movie. She has also appeared on the TV show Ugly Betty.

The Clique

McLaughlin stated that she has been a huge fan of The Clique series since she was in seventh grade. She also said that her attorney is also Lisi Harrison's attorney, and that after she landed the role of Massie, they went out to lunch a few times.
McLaughlin also said that in order to prepare she had to think about all the mean girls that she had met over the years, and re-read the series in order to get to know Massie better.
She and the other actresses in the movie got really close while filming, and once had a few Pretty Committee-like sleepovers.
McLaughlin was nominated for "favorite newcomer" by Popstar Magazine for her role as Massie. 

Elizabeth is 17 and hs graduated high school. She has one brother, Matt McLaughlin. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, but then moved to Florida, Zephiryhills. She has blonde hair, Blue/Green eyes in her free time she likes to do these activity's: Student Government, Speech, Cheerleading, Storytelling, and Modeling. She likes to shop at: Barnes & Noble, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Vintage Stores on Melrose. Her favorite magazine's are: Teen Vogue, and Seventeen. Her favorite celebrity's are: Natalie Portman, Ricky Gervais, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Kate Winslet. Her favorite T.V. shows are: The Tudors, Extras, and House. Her favorite movies are: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,and Amelie. Her favorite books are: Alicia in Wonderland, and Through The Looking Glass. And her favorite food is bread but she also likes ketchup. Elizabeth also has appeared in many movies like The Clique where she plays a character name Massie Block. Elizabeth is an important actress because her acting brought us The Clique movie which is one of the best movies in my opinion.. Elizabeth is an important singer because her singing is amazing. For all we know her singing could become like the next Selena Gomez! Elizabeth's hobbies like Student Government are important because they help give a student a proper education. Elizabeth's hobbies like speech are important to help kids talk better than they do now, because they might talk different. Elizabeth's hobbies like cheerleading are important because it helps give a kid a good amount of health and exercise. Elizabeth's hobbies like storytelling are important because it is a very humble and sweet activity that can only be done by good hearts. Elizabeth's hobbies like modeling are important because it is inspiring to some kids.
Elizabeth also starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame production, "November Christmas," which aired on CBS in November 2010. She enjoyed working with Sam Elliott, Karen Allen, John Corbett, and Emily Lind. The film was made in Nova Scotia, Canada and Elizabeth fell in love with the area and the people.
Elizabeth will be seen in an upcoming episode of "Melissa and Joey" sometime in the summer of 2011.
