Biography

Christine Helen Lakin was born on January 25th, 1979 in Dallas, Texas. After moving several times as a child, her family finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Christine started her acting career. There, she attended the Atlanta workshop players - a theater group which plays in schools in the Atlanta metro area. Her first audition was for a TV-commercial - "Got Milk?!", and after not getting that job, she didn't have to wait long for her next opportunity, which was the part as the young Rose in the civil-war flick The Rose and the Jackal (1990) (TV), which also starred Christopher Reeve. In 1991, she took her first step towards big fame and landed the role as the tomboyish Al on the Friday night hit "Step by Step" (1991).
During the sitcom's long run, Christine gracefully grew up, graduated from high school in 1997 and made various appearances on other television shows. When "Step by Step" (1991) was cancelled in 1998, Christine, while attending UCLA and majoring in film, looked for other film roles. She landed jobs in independent films such as Big Monster on Campus (2000) and Finding Kelly (2000). Whatever It Takes (2000) was Christine's first wide theatrical film release. Since then, she has had a slew of independent coming-of-age films along with guest appearances on such hit shows as "Boston Public" (2000), and "Opposite Sex" (2000). Still attending UCLA and handling a film career, Christine is managing to do what few child actors tend to do, which is continue

247°F
247°F Actor
247°F is a suspense thriller directed by Levan Bakhia and Beqa Jguburia. Cast members include Scout Taylor-Compton, Travis Van Winkle, Christina Ulloa, Michael Copon and Tyler Mane. It was filmed in Tbilisi, Georgia and wrapped in July, 2011.[1] It received its first international release date in Georgia on 1 September 2011. The film is about a group of friends who get trapped in a sauna.[1] 247°F will be released on UK DVD and Blu-ray on the 18th March, from Anchor Bay Entertainment.[
Jenna (Scout Taylor-Compton) gets into a car accident with her boyfriend, Jamie, who eventually dies. Three years later, while coping with her past tragedy, Jenna is invited to stay for the weekend in a lakeside cabin by her best friend Renee (Christina Ulloa). They are joined by Renee’s irresponsible boyfriend, Michael (Michael Copon), and his friend, Ian (Travis Van Winkle), and sail off at Ian's uncle, Wade's (Tyler Mane) lakeside cabin. They are greeted by Wade along with his friendly dog, named Beau. They settle in the cabin and plan on attending a party, since there is a festival happening around the nearby town at night. Jenna goes to her room and refuses to take her pills so she could have fun with her friends. While they all eat dinner, Wade mentions how he may not be around while they are away since he has work to do. The group gets fascinated when they stumble inside a sauna Wade built. While they enjoy spending time inside, the temperature gets warmer and they decide to swim at the lake. Trembling in cold, they all head back inside the sauna. Meanwhile, Michael gets high from the marijuana Wade had given to him, where Renee rebuffs his sexual advances. This upsets Michael and gets out of the sauna. As the temperature continues to rise, Renee ultimately decides to leave but the door is blocked from the outside. The trio think it is just one of Michael's pranks since they all know he's mad at Renee, which they don't find amusing. They soon realize that they are trapped in the sauna and attempts to break a small window on the door, injuring Ian's hand. They all take turns gasping for air as the temperature raises even higher with another unsuccessful attempt to unblock the door from the outside. The group then finds a hidden controller which they all can't risk destroying, since Ian believes it would just alter the temperature.
Meanwhile, Wade is seen handling the fireworks for the festival with another guy, when Beau tracks the trio's scream, begging for help, from the back of the house. Michael shows up at Wade's and both disregard Beau's barking. Michael clearly thinks the three left him and attended the party, since he couldn't help himself from getting high. The two hang out and start a conversation as Michael explains that he wasn't permitted to catch up at the party with the group since he didn't have a ticket and returned home.
Back at the sauna, the situation transcend as the group runs out of water to drink and Renee getting sick from the hot temperature. Renee ultimately decides to break the controller, thinking it would lower down the temperature, but is stopped by Jenna. Renee starts yelling at her where Jenna inadvertently hits her head with a rock, which falls her unconscious. Jenna starts freaking out and decides to break the controller herself, which turns out to heat up the whole sauna. Ian turns hysterical and burns his body to prevents the steamer from heating which blows up, killing Ian. At this point, Jenna is able escape the sauna but in reality, she was just hallucinating. She gets back on the unconscious but still alive Renee and lets her near the window so she could breathe.
Michael, unaware of his friends trapped in the sauna, gets back to the cabin where flashbacks shows him to the scene where he left the sauna earlier. It shows how Michael was so intoxicated that he inadvertently knocks down equipment near the door which ended up trapping his friends inside. Meanwhile, Wade arrives at the cabin and discovers the two girls, alive, in the sauna. The paramedics arrive and take Jenna and Renee in a stretcher as they hold hands.

Christina Rene Hendricks

http://cdn03.cdn.justjared.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/hendricks-johnnie/christina-hendricks-johnnie-walker-fathers-day-03.jpg
Christina Rene Hendricks (born May 3, 1975) is an American actress who plays Joan Harris on the AMC cable television series Mad Men and played Saffron on the FOX series Firefly. A poll of female readers taken by Esquire magazine named Hendricks "the sexiest woman in the world".[2] In 2010, she was voted Best Looking American Woman by Esquire magazine
Hendricks began acting in children's musical theater productions in Twin Falls. She was a model from the ages of 18 to 27. She made a number of guest television appearances, starting as a regular in the series Beggars and Choosers. Since then, she has starred in the series The Big Time and The Court, opposite Sally Field and Craig Bierko, as well as the legal drama Kevin Hill, which was filmed in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. She has also had recurring roles in ER and Firefly and guest-starred in episodes of Angel, Miss Match, Tru Calling, Presidio Med, Without a Trace, and Las Vegas. Hendricks starred opposite Kip Pardue in South of Pico. La Cucina, an award-winning indie film, premiered on Showtime in December 2009 and stars Hendricks as a writer opposite Joaquim de Almeida. She has appeared in four episodes of the NBC TV show Life in the recurring role of Olivia, detective Charlie Crews' soon-to-be stepmother and Ted Earley's love interest. She also starred in music videos for "The Ghost Inside" by Broken Bells,[4] and Everclear's "One Hit Wonder".[5]
She plays Joan Harris on the AMC series Mad Men where Hendricks' character is the office manager of advertising agency Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce (SCDP), providing mentoring to a group of women who must deal with the come-ons and callousness of professional advertising executives.
She appeared in the action-thriller Drive, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, alongside Carey Mulligan and Ryan Gosling.

Cultural influence

Hendricks has been credited[by whom?] as having an ideal shape for a woman.[7]
British Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone praised Hendricks' hourglass figure as an ideal shape for women, saying "Christina Hendricks is absolutely fabulous... We need more of these role models. There is such a sensation when there is a curvy role model. It shouldn't be so unusual."[7] Los Angeles Times television critic Mary McNamara says her portrayal of Holloway has revolutionized perceptions of beauty on television.[8] She has been called the "new modern ideal of Hollywood glamour—full figured, voluptuous; a throwback to the days of Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell and Veronica Lake."[9] British designer Vivienne Westwood selected her to represent its "Get A Life" Palladium jewelry collection in March 2011. Westwood described Hendricks as "the embodiment of beauty."[10]
In recent times, Hendricks has moved away from accepting the term "full-figured" and once lambasted a reporter who used the term when interviewing her.[11] Hendricks commented in September 2010 that the media is too focused on women's bodies and not their actual talents, "I was working my butt off on the show [Mad Men] and then all anyone was talking about was my body."[12][13] A study by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons attributed a 10% rise in 2010 of the number of British women receiving breast augmentation surgery in part to Hendricks' influence.[14]

Personal life

Hendricks was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her mother, Jackie Sue (née Raymond), was a psychologist. Her father, Robert Hendricks, who worked for the United States Forest Service, was from Birmingham, England.[15][16] Through her father, she has dual U.S./U.K. nationality.[17] Her family moved because of her father's profession, living in Fairfax, Virginia; Portland, Oregon; and Twin Falls, Idaho.[18][19] Hendricks is a natural blonde and began coloring her hair red at the age of 10 after reading Anne of Green Gables. She plays the accordion, and used her talent on an episode of Mad Men.[20]
On October 11, 2009, Hendricks married actor Geoffrey Arend.[21]

Chloë Grace Moretz

http://www.contactmusic.com/pics/lf/women_in_film_arrivals_5_130612/chloe-grace-moretz-women-in-film-2012_3941763.jpg
Chloë Grace Moretz (pron.: /məˈrɛts/; born February 10, 1997) is an American actress. She began her acting career at the age of seven and has appeared in films such as The Amityville Horror (2005), (500) Days of Summer (2009), Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010), Kick-Ass (2010), Let Me In (2010), Hugo (2011), and Dark Shadows (2012). She will appear in the upcoming 2013 remake of the 1976 film Carrie in the title role.
Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother, Teri (née Duke), is a nurse, and her father, McCoy Lee Moretz, is a plastic surgeon.[2][3] Moretz has four older brothers: Brandon, Trevor, Colin, and Ethan.[4] She has described her family as "very Christian".[5] One of her brothers, Trevor "Duke", is her acting coach and accompanies her on trips and press dates when her parents are unable to attend.[6] Moretz moved from Cartersville, Georgia to New York in 2002, with her mother and her older brother, Trevor, because he was accepted into the Professional Performing Arts School; this initially got her interested in acting.[7] Her acting career began when she and the rest of her family moved to Los Angeles in 2004.
Chloë Grace has expressed her intention to establish a clear separation between her professional career (premieres and filming movies) and her personal life[8], which she describes as a happy life with great support from her family.[9]

Her hobbies in her spare time[10] [11] are a devotion to video games [12][13], and listening to all kinds of musical styles[14][15], which includes her admiration for Barbadian singer Rihanna[16].
She is also a big fan of skiing, a sport she has undertaken actively together with her family and friends
Moretz's first role in Hollywood was as Violet in two episodes of the series The Guardian, and her first movie role was as Molly in Heart of the Beholder. It was not until her second big-screen acting role, in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror that she earned greater recognition in the form of a Young Artist Award nomination.[20] After Amityville, Moretz's acting career progressed further when she received several guest-starring roles on TV, as well as a small role in Big Momma's House 2. Among the most notable of her TV roles to date are as the recurring characters Kiki George in Dirty Sexy Money, and Sherri Maltby in Desperate Housewives. Moretz also voiced the U.S. version of the animated character Darby in My Friends Tigger & Pooh. Moretz also co-starred as Cammie, an abused child, in The Poker House alongside Selma Blair and Jennifer Lawrence.[21] After her first film premiere in The Amityville Horror, she has been a frequent guest at film premieres.

In 2010, Moretz appeared as Hit-Girl in director Matthew Vaughn's action film Kick-Ass, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr.. Despite controversy surrounding her role in the violent film, she has received widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal. Roger Ebert[22] gave the movie one out of four stars, but nonetheless wrote: "Say what you will about her character, but Chloe Grace Moretz has presence and appeal." Moretz trained with Jackie Chan's stunt crew for three months prior to filming Kick-Ass and did most of her own stunts while filming on location.[23] Also that year, she played Abby, a 12-year-old vampire, in Let Me In,[24] the American remake of the Swedish film Let the Right One In, which was released on October 1, 2010.[25] She played Ann Sliger in the crime thriller Texas Killing Fields, which was released on October 14, 2011.[26]

Moretz played Isabelle in Martin Scorsese's Hugo, a film adaptation of The Invention of Hugo Cabret.[27] Hugo, which was nominated for 11 Oscars, co-starred Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley and Helen McCrory. Moretz stars in Hick, an adaptation of the novel by Andrea Portes.[28] She appeared in the 2012 Tim Burton film Dark Shadows, a remake of the popular soap opera, playing the role of Carolyn Stoddard,[29][30] a rebellious teenage daughter. Moretz has signed on to play the leading role in Emily the Strange. The project was first mentioned in 2010, when Dark Horse Entertainment president Mike Richardson announced his plans to bring the character to the big screen. First started as an iconic image in 1991 and used to promote a clothing line from Cosmic Debris, the Gothic teen has developed a back story through a series of Dark Horse Comics, which have been published since 2001.[31]

In March 2012, Moretz signed on to The Drummer, a biopic about the last six years of the life of Dennis Wilson, drummer for The Beach Boys. She stars alongside Aaron Eckhart, Rupert Grint and Vera Farmiga.[32] Her 2013 roles include playing title character in an re-adaptation of Stephen King's Carrie directed by Kimberly Peirce,[33][34][35] and reprising her role as Hit-Girl in the sequel Kick-Ass 2.[36]
In January 2013, Moretz was chosen to play the protagonist Mia in the adaptation of Gayle Forman's If I Stay. The story follows the 17-year-old classical musician as she deals with the aftermath of a catastrophic car accident involving her family and has an out-of-body experience.[37]
