If work is what you love, then you love your life… And you never stop working.
As a film/tv and theater actress in New York City you can find me in everything from character-driven independent features to comedic ‘funny or die’ shorts. When I’m not acting, I’m writing and producing my own webseries. And when I’m not doing that, I’m practicing yoga, dancing and of course, sampling vegan cupcakes.

That’s right, cupcakes. As founder of GoSweetandSkinny.com, I’m dedicated to demystifying the low fat and vegan lifestyles. I’m here to prove that taking care of your body and making healthy choices are easy when you don’t have to give up the foods you love!

My all-time crush is Audrey Hepburn, the embodiment of classic femininity. Her example inspired women to their highest aspirations. I’ve committed my career to honoring her example, and to empowering the women of my generation to a life of class and integrity.
Life is a lot like baking cupcakes, sometimes it’s a big, sticky mess and it sure gets hot with the oven always on but when you combine the right ingredients and mix it all up with love, it always ends up sweet and skinny.

Birthday: 15 May 1978, Montréal, Québec, Canada
Height: 5' 1" (1.55 m)

Biography

Caroline Dhavernas commands the attention of filmgoers and television viewers with her beauty, talent and poise. Beginning her career at age 11, the Montreal native is already an acclaimed young actress who has also made her mark in Hollywood. She is the recipient of two Gemeaux Awards, one for "Best Interpretation in a Youth Series" for "Zap" (1993) and the second for "Best Supporting Role" in "Tag" (2000). She was also nominated for a Genie Award for "Best Supporting Actress" in Niagara Motel (2005).

Dhavernas made her American television debut in 2004 in the critically acclaimed FOX series "Wonderfalls" (2004) and starred in the ABC television series "Off the Map" (2011). She appeared in the supernatural thriller Devil (2010) produced by M. Night Shyamalan, The Switch (2010/I) with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman and can be seen in the film Wrecked (2009/I) starring Adrien Brody. She also starred as "Vera Keller" in "The Pacific" (2010), a mini-series about World War II that debuted on HBO in March 2010. Dhavernas appeared in the widely acclaimed Canadian feature Passchendaele (2008), which won the 2009 Genie Award for Best Motion Picture. Dhavernas also starred in the film Breach (2007), with Chris Cooper and 'Ryan Phillippe'x . In 2006 she starred in the Focus Features film Hollywoodland (2006) opposite Adrien Brody. Her first feature film, Thick as Thieves (1999), was followed by L'île de sable (1999). She also co-starred in English director Peter Greenaway's The Tulse Luper Suitcases, Part 1: The Moab Story (2003), which was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003. Dhavernas divides her time between Montreal and New York City
http://i2.listal.com/image/353449/600full-caroline-dhavernas.jpg
Dhavernas was born in Montreal, Quebec, the daughter of the Québécois actors Sébastien Dhavernas and Michèle Deslauriers. Her first name is pronounced kah-ro-LYN because of her French-Canadian heritage. Her last name is roughly pronounced dah-vair-NAH. Her sister Gabrielle Dhavernas is also an actress and specialises in dubbing. The voice timbre of both actresses is very similar, so similar that Gabrielle can dub the voice of Caroline. She learned English at a very young age, as her parents sent her to an English-speaking elementary school called The Priory School.
She began her career at the age of 8, dubbing voices for television productions such as Babar. At the age of 12 she began her acting career in the film Comme un Voleur (1990).
Dhavernas portrayed swimmer Marilyn Bell in the made-for-television movie Heart: The Marilyn Bell Story (1999). She trained for 2 months with the Pointe-Claire Swim Club to convincingly portray Marilyn Bell who was the first to cross 32-mile Lake Ontario in 1954. Other notable films have included a leading role in Edge of Madness (2002), and supporting roles in Out Cold (2001) and Lost and Delirious (2001). She also had a notable role on Law & Order as a closeted, gay teenager who killed her girlfriend in the episode "Girl Most Likely" (12x17).
http://www.funmaximum.com/movies/celeb-images/caroline-dhavernas.jpg
Her most high-profile work to date is as the central character in Wonderfalls. Dhavernas plays Jaye, an underachiever university graduate from a wealthy family, who lives in a trailer and works at the Wonderfalls Gift Emporium, a Niagara Falls gift shop. One of the quirks of the show is Jaye's ability to hear inanimate objects speaking to her, and encouraging her to help other people. Dhavernas has described the show as being like "Touched by an Angel on acid". The show received widespread critical praise, but Fox canceled the show after four airings. Millions of fans signed a petition to try to get the show to stay but only partly succeeded with 20th Century Fox only releasing the DVD with the 13 completed episodes. She did her own voice-overs for the French translation of Wonderfalls.
Since the cancellation of Wonderfalls, Dhavernas has continued to appear in Canadian-made features, including Niagara Motel and These Girls. She also appears in the 2006 film Hollywoodland about the death of actor George Reeves, as well as in the 2007 film Breach.
http://www.joblo.com/images_arrownews/caroline-dhavernas-.jpeg
She also has the lead role in Surviving My Mother (which went under the working title of The Yellow Woman), a movie directed by Émile Gaudreault which premiered at the Festival des films du monde of Montreal on August 28, 2007. The wider theatrical release was November 2, 2007. In 2008 Dhavernas starred in Passchendaele, a film written and directed by Paul Gross about the Battle of Passchendaele. Passchendaele accounted for half of 2008's box office revenue from made-in-Canada anglophone films and as of 2009 is the most expensive film in Canadian history.
It's a beautiful film and I'm really, really happy to be part of it. It's about Battle of Passchendaele, which was a very important battle for Canadians and it's a big part of our history. It was just so amazing to be privileged to live a little part of that history.[1]

Recent projects include The Cry of the Owl, a movie adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel of the same name, and the popular Quebec comedy De père en flic. She also appeared in the first and last episodes of HBO's miniseries The Pacific, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, and she guest starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, playing Maya in the episode "Love Sick" in May 2010.
In 2012, audiences have seen her in Martin Villeneuve's Mars et Avril, a science fiction film based on the graphic novels of the same name.[2][3]
She has been cast as the female lead, Dr. Alana 'Al' Bloom in Hannibal, reuniting her with Wonderfalls creator Bryan Fuller.

Birthday: 1974, London, England, UK
Height: Height Not Available

Biography

Carmen Ejogo grew up in London. She began her acting career in the UK working with directors such as Micheal Winterbottom and Kenneth Brannagh. She broke through to international acclaim in 1997, as Eddie Murphy's on screen paramour in the the movie Metro. Later, Ejogo disclosed the full extent of her dramatic range with a skilled portrayal of Sally Hemings - Thomas Jefferson's mistress - in the acclaimed television miniseries Sally Hemings: An American Scandal (2000). She has since worked on numerous movies the US, and has done exemplary supporting work in such pictures as

Born and raised in London, Ejogo is the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Ejogo née Douglas.[3] Her father was Nigerian and her mother was Scottish.[4] During her childhood, Ejogo remembers her mother as being "a bit of a hippie".[5] Her younger brother is also named Charles Ejogo.[6][7] She attended the Oratory Primary Roman Catholic primary school in Chelsea until 1984.
Ejogo's television career began in the UK in the early 1990s, where she presented the children's series Saturday Disney. Subsequently, she has had an acting career in the US. She has appeared in Metro with Eddie Murphy, What's the Worst That Could Happen? with Martin Lawrence, and Love's Labour's Lost with Kenneth Branagh, among other films, and also presented The Carmen Ejogo Video Show — her own video show on BSB's Power Station channel. She starred as Thomas Jefferson's slave mistress in the television drama Sally Hemmings: An American Scandal and also as Sister Anderson in the remake version of the cult classic original film Sparkle. Although the film has received mixed reviews, Ejogo has received significant acclaim for her performance, being cited by many critics as the breakout star of the film. Liz Smith, of the Huffington Post wrote: "As for Carmen Ejogo, as the cynical Sister, she is mind-blowing. "What a performance! Carmen has been around for a while, and has a fanatical fan base. Now I know why. If this turn doesn't cop her an Oscar nomination, there is no justice"; Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle also went as far as to suggest in his review that Ejogo's performance might place her under serious consideration for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. LaSalle comments: "...very few people will walk out of Sparkle talking about either Sparks or Houston, at least not at first. Instead they will be saying, "Who was that?" And they'll be referring to Carmen Ejogo...If there is any justice, Ejogo will become very famous very soon. As in, maybe today...It's rare to see someone become a movie star right before your eyes, but that's what happens with Ejogo in Sparkle....For an actress, this was the opportunity of a lifetime, and Ejogo plays it that way. She leaves nothing out, holds nothing back."

Music

Ejogo is also a vocalist, having collaborated with several artists in the 1990s. She wrote and sang lead vocals on the song "Candles" by English drum 'n' bass DJ Alex Reece — she appeared in the music video and is listed in the production credits as 'Carmen'.
Aside from "Candles", Ejogo appears on four songs of the Sparkle original soundtrack album from the movie of the same name, singing lead on "Yes I Do" (as a solo), and co-lead vocals with Jordin Sparks and Tika Sumpter on "Jump", "Hooked On Your Love" and "Something He Can Feel".

Carla Gugino

Birthday: 29 August 1971, Sarasota, Florida, USA
Height: 5' 5" (1.65 m)

http://images.wikia.com/spykids/images/7/74/Carla_Gugino.jpg

Biography

Carla was born in Sarasota, Florida. Moved with her mother to Paradise, California, when Carla was just five years old. During her childhood, they moved many times within the state. But she remained a straight-A student throughout high school and graduated as valedictorian. A major modeling agency discovered Carla in San Diego and sent her to New York to begin a new career when she was 15. New York was more than she could handle at that young age, so she returned to LA in the summer, modeling and enrolling in an acting class at the suggestion of her aunt, Carol Merrill, known from "Let's Make a Deal" (1963). During her free

Gugino was born in Sarasota, Florida, to Carl Gugino, an orthodontist of Italian descent,[1] and a mother of English-Irish descent[2] described as "Bohemian".[3] Her parents separated when she was two,[4] after which she traveled between her father and half-brother Carl Jr.'s home in Sarasota, and her Paradise, California home, to which her mother moved her when she was four. She has described her bicoastal childhood, saying, "I lived in a tepee in Northern California and a van in Big Sur. With my dad, I lived in a beautiful house with a swimming pool and a tennis court and went to Europe for the summers. So I feel like I lived two childhoods." She worked as a teenage fashion model, and took acting classes at the suggestion of her aunt, former Let's Make a Deal spokesmodel Carol Merrill.[3] She eventually came to support herself, and with her parents' support, was legally emancipated by the time she was 16
