Born in Kansas, Giana has lived her entire life as
an “Army Brat”, moving to a new place virtually every year. Youngest of
three and the only girl, Giana grew up playing sports but also had a
strong interest in the visual arts, mainly
drawing and painting. It wasn't until high-school, however, that she
discovered her passion for acting and film, becoming heavily involved in
school and
local theatre productions.
After completing half of middle and high school in South Florida, and
graduating high school in Hawaii, Giana returned to Florida to attend
the University of Central Florida. She is currently in her last year,
preparing to graduate with honors and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
Her academic studies have taken no priority above her career, however,
as she is currently studying the Meisner approach at Truthful Acting
Studios and continues to be heavily involved in local films,
commercials, and various other projects.
Giana was fortunate enough to spend the previous summer in Los
Angeles, where she got a healthy dose of behind the camera production
work, specifically on two feature films, The Polterguys and 1 out of 7.
One of her short films, Possibilities, premiered at the 2012 Short Film Corner at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival.
Most recently, Giana can be seen in the upcoming psychological drama, Anti-Painkillers and Mister White, a horror feature film.
