Living in LA
Dana Jamison was born and raised in Delaware where she began modeling at age 12 and made her way to Los Angeles, California after competing in the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in January 2008, and was “noticed” by many agencies, one of which signed her on for LA Fashion Week.
It didn’t take long for Dana to realize “This is where I belong!”
Now in her 20’s, Dana continues modeling and is
pursuing her “true dream” of becoming an actress. To accomplish this she
is working as an intern at AdvanceLA with Vance Peyton, producer and
casting director and attending AIDA School of Acting in Hollywood.
Last summer, Dana competed on ABC’s new summer
reality show, Wipeout, where 24 contestants compete on a very
challenging obstacle course. She displayed her athleticism and
determination and ended up in the finals competing against five men
where she placed second. She was selected to participate in an
“All-Star” Wipeout show shown in the summer of 2009 which were the “most
popular contestants” from last year’s premier season.
Other shows she has been on were Entourage, the
Tim Quall’s Show as a runway model, interviewed on Chelsea Lately while
at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, on Jimmy Kimmel Live during the MTV Movie
Awards, she has been filmed in various music videos, two student films,
a Pepsi commercial shown during Superbowl 2009, MTV’s “Parental
Control”, was a semi-finalist contestant trying-out for Tyra Banks
“Americas Next Top Model-Cycle12” and was on NBC 10’s Project Runway in
Philadelphia.
Living in Delaware
Before heading to LA, Dana participated in runway shows throughout Delaware: Karla G, Betsey Johnson and the University of Delaware fashion shows. She modeled for ad campaigns, photographers’ and designers’ websites and also for magazines.

While attending Alexis I. DuPont High School, Dana
achieved many honors: Distinguished honors, National Honor Society
member, MVP and All-State lacrosse and field hockey player, physical
fitness record title holder, and President of her sophomore and junior
classes. Clubs she was a member of were: Environmental action committee,
astronomy club, student council and key club.
Athletics have been a very important part in Dana’s life. She was a competitive figure skater and cheerleader, participated in softball, diving, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey and took horseback riding lessons.

Giving Back
Very important to Dana is giving back to the community. Since 2003 she has visited a nursing home as a volunteer. She traveled to numerous high schools and middle schools to lecture to groups on modeling, and self confidence and esteem.

Dana sponsors a 10 year old boy "Felipe" from
Brazil through World Vision and is a “Big Sister” with the Catholic Big
Brother and Sister Foundation.
She loves to travel, meet new people, continue to help others and keep an upbeat personality and attitude.
