Kresge grew up as an Army brat with aspirations of becoming either an
astronaut or a politician. However, after going to Space Camp, pursuing
a Political Science degree, and spending a year in the Air Force ROTC,
she realized that her true passion would take her on a different path.
She was accepted into the Arizona Repertory Theatre, the acting company
at the University of Arizona, where she received critical acclaim for
her performances spanning Shakespeare to contemporary works. She
received a B.F.A. in Acting/Directing and a B.A. in Political Science,
graduating with honors and magna cum laude in both disciplines.
Since coming to Los Angeles,
Catherine has appeared in over 30 commercials and print campaigns, and
has made her mark in both television and independent film. She won a
Distinctive Achievement in Acting award at the Wild Rose Independent
Film Festival for her work in her latest feature, “The Things We Carry”,
which was screened in 18 film festivals across the country.
When
she is not acting, you might find Catherine on the dance floor at a
local Salsa club, out rock-climbing, or in a classroom teaching teens
the fundamentals of acting in a weekend class.
